Prior to the Homeswest apartments, the site at Subicentro was previously a foundry. The work makes reference to some of the shapes of functional objects produced historically on the site. The original location for the artwork was intended in the laneway between the Homeswest apartments and its neighbouring building. This location was changed by the developer during the build to the entrance to the underground parking area.
